Testing for Adults

Psychological testing can be requested by a client, a physician, an employer, a government agency, or a court of law.

Examples of situations in which The Family Psychology Clinic can provide assessments include:

  • Adult ADHD
  • Adult Autism
  • Certain Custody Situations
  • Clarification of Mental Health Diagnoses
(e.g., Bipolar, Major Depression, or Anxiety Disorders)
  • Intellectual or Personality Testing
  •  Law enforcement/Fitness for Duty
  • Pre-surgical Evaluations

Recommendations

After completing an evaluation, an individual will be provided with a comprehensive report that includes specific recommendations
crafted to help him or her move forward with treatment planning and implementation, work readiness, custody arrangements, or obtaining special assistance for which he or she may qualify.

Dr. Mosier is available to consult with other professionals, such as psychiatrists, other physicians, educators, or attorneys to ensure continuity of care for patients and a smooth transition between testing services and the successful implementation of recommendations.

Asset 1

Intake

Getting an accurate history is the first step in any effective treatment cycle and the goal of your initial meetings with Dr. Mosier.

Asset 2

Treatment Planning

After meeting with you and/or your child, Dr. Mosier will develop and review a treatment plan that takes into account your individual situation, the reasons for seeking testing or evaluation, and the best psychological tools to use in making you, your child or teens’ diagnosis.

Asset 3

Intervention

After testing, Dr. Mosier will review the results of your child’s evaluation with you in detail and discuss further intervention. This might include individual or family therapies, consultation with other professionals or institutions, or advocacy on behalf of you and your child for additional school-based or private services
